In Indore, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently unveiled a new state-of-the-art 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College’s Super Specialty Hospital. He also inaugurated a newly constructed (G+2) block at the Government Dental College, costing about Rs 6 crore. Provided under the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, the advanced equipment is expected to significantly improve the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. CM Yadav cut the ribbon of the CT scan room and received a briefing on the machine's features. The newly built block at the dental college, addressing space constraints highlighted by the Dental Council of India, was also inspected.

Furthermore, the state government is set to install an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units at the dental college through the Madhya Pradesh Public Health Corporation. These additions will benefit undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as outpatients. CM Yadav expressed that these new medical facilities showcase the government's dedication to enhancing healthcare services in the region. He emphasized that the advanced CT scan machine will aid in early disease detection and precise diagnoses, while the new dental college building will provide students with top-notch facilities.

During his visit, CM Yadav toured the MR-10 ISBT in Indore, slated to be operational by December. He announced plans for the construction of India's largest inter-state bus terminal (ISBT) in Indore, designed akin to an airport. This modern facility will become a prominent landmark in the region and an essential addition to the state's infrastructure.The infrastructure initiative, planned ahead of the Simhastha religious gathering, is the 15-acre IDA facility that cost Rs 101 crore. It is anticipated to greatly improve the travel experience for passengers. The terminal has the capacity to serve up to 80,000 passengers daily and can host 1,440 buses throughout the day. The ISBT is equipped with 14 ticket counters, a parking area for 1,000 vehicles, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and various other facilities. Additionally, the CM inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College and assured employees at the Sanchi Dairy Plant that there would be no job layoffs. The CM pledged to enhance the state’s dairy sector and support dairy cooperatives. Furthermore, the CM unveiled a statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi in the city forest as a tribute to her sacrifice for environmental protection. During his visit to Indore, the CM sought blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for approximately 50,000 individuals.
